INPP became a member of the Integrity Academy

21 public sector organizations became participants in the Integrity Academy – an initiative by the President of the Republic of Lithuania organized by the Special Investigation Service (SIS). Together with project experts participants will strive to create an environment resistant to corruption. Other affiliated organizations will participate in joint activities, consultations, trainings and will share their good practices. Today, the organizers, experts and participants of the Integrity Academy will discuss the expectations for the initiative and next stages of joint activities online.

Organizations could choose to what extent and on what issues they wanted to be involved in the activities of the Integrity Academy. Organizations wishing to create a corruption-resistant environment from the outset or to strengthen one or more corruption prevention measures have become members of the Integrity Academy and will receive direct assistance from project experts. Other organizations that have joined the Integrity Academy will be able to participate in joint project activities, consultations, trainings, and share their best practices in creating an environment resistant to corruption.

"I congratulate the first participants of the Integrity Academy, who actively expressed their desire to take real action in creating an environment resistant to corruption. I would like to thank the experts and partners who are ready to share their experience and thus increase the quality of the activities of other organizations, as well as the entire public sector,” says Žydrūnas Bartkus, Director of SIS.

3 ministries, 4 institutions under ministries, 8 state-owned enterprises (including subsidiaries), 2 municipalities and 4 municipally owned enterprises became participants in the Integrity Academy, which will create an environment resistant to corruption.

After Ignalina NPP became a member of the Integrity Academy, the Integrity Academy questionnaire was completed, the Enterprise's anti-corruption status was assessed, and experts meeting the Enterprise's needs were selected. Once the experts have started working with the participants, an action plan will be prepared, during the implementation of which the experts will provide consultations, advice, and methodological assistance, thus achieving the most effective results in creating an anti-corruption environment. After one year or another period agreed with the project participant, the participant's anti-corruption status and progress will be reassessed. After evaluating the participant's progress, the achieved results, changes and, if necessary, additional actions to improve the anti-corruption environment will be discussed.

You can join the Intergrity Academy initiative at any time by filling in the participant form.

The exchange of good practices of the Integrity Academy is initiated by the President of the Republic of Lithuania. The organizer of the initiative is SIS. Integrity Academy experts are professionals in the relevant field who help participants to create an environment resistant to corruption, select activities and tools to improve the anti-corruption situation, provide consultations and methodological assistance, and share good practices.
