INPP presented forthcoming works

2020 February 25th Representatives of German energy company Uniper visited Ignalina Nuclear Power Plant (INPP).

The aim of the visit was to get acquainted with the INPP decommissioning work processes and to discuss possibilities to use INPP experience in nuclear facilities of EU countries.

During the meeting with representatives of INPP, the participants of the visit got acquainted with the general process of INPP decommissioning, organization of dismantling and decontamination works, technologies, successfully implemented projects and planned decommissioning works.

The delegation visited the controlled INPP area in order to assess the extent of the work being carried out, as well as the extent of the work still to be done in the field of dismantling.
