On 30 May representatives of Ignalina NPP and Ministry of Energy visited Chernobyl NPP

During the visit members of the delegation were familiarised with the progress of Chernobyl NPP decommissioning processes. The delegation met administration of the Nuclear Power Plant and discussed decommissioning practices and methodologies applied at Chernobyl NPP, including radioactive waste management, damaged spent fuel management, personnel management in terms of changing work volumes.

Representatives of Ignalina NPP and Ministry of Energy visited new protective containment and buffer storage for spent nuclear fuels.
