Prepared the Post-Project Analysis Programme for the new nuclear installations of Ignalina NPP

Aiming at implementation of the provisions of the Convention on Environmental Impact Assessment in a Transboundary Context of the United Nations Economic Commission (Espoo, 1991) as well as in order to ascertain that operation of new nuclear installations for which transboundary environmental impact assessment has been carried out does not have and will not have the significant adverse transboundary impact as it has been provided for in the environmental impact assessment and safety analysis documents developed during the design stage, the INPP prepared the Post-Project Analysis Programme for the new nuclear installations of Ignalina NPP (hereinafter referred to as the Programme) on order to conduct monitoring of the activity of new INPP facilities in a transparent manner and submit the results of conducted monitoring to the regulatory institutions, the general public and interested neighbouring countries.

In order to ensure proper announcement of the Projects under implementation all parties concerned are welcome to familiarise themselves with the prepared Programme at the Communications Division of INPP (Elektrines Str. 4, K 47, Druksiniu vil., 31152 Visaginas mun.).
