Presentation of Ignalina NPP progress and plans

December 16, Representatives of Toshiba Energy Systems & Solutions Corporation and AECOM visited Ignalina Nuclear Power Plant (INPP) and met with INPP specialists.

The purpose of the visit was to get acquainted with the general INPP decommissioning process, organization of dismantling and decontamination works and technologies, planned decommissioning works.

The INPP specialists presented the project of decommissioning, successfully implemented projects and future challenges. The delegation visited the INPP to assess the extent of the work being carried out, as well as the scope of work still to be done.

Representatives of Toshiba and AECOM presented their ongoing projects and technologies, as well as their existing competencies and experience in dismantling projects and planned decommissioning projects.
