The audit confirmed compliance with ISO 9001:2015 standards

On 22 February, the auditors of PLCC GCERT BALTIC carried out SE Ignalina Nuclear Power Plant (hereinafter - SE INPP) management system’s supervisory audit according to the ISO 9001: 2015 standard. It was stated that the management system of SE INPP complies with the requirements of the international standard ISO 9001: 2015. The auditors noted high level of managerial knowledge of the enterprise’s management and other executives, their understanding of the enterprise’s context and their field of expertise, as well as progress in risk management.

SE INPP management system certification according to the international ISO 9001: 2015 standard is not only prestige, but also a possibility to gain greater trust of the public, the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Lithuania, organizations financing the enterprise’s activities and other stakeholders. It is also an opportunity to be recognized while integrating into the international market for nuclear facilities and to have a competitive advantage when participating in international tenders.
