Deadlines set for preliminary procurement procedures for the construction works of the B25 project

The Ignalina Nuclear Power Plant is carrying out preparatory works for the general contractor procurement procedures of the Near Surface Repository for Low and Intermediate Level Short-lived Radioactive Waste (Project B25). The preparation of procurement documents is now well underway - adjusting performance guarantees, revising the time limits for procurement procedures, analysing comments from participants in the market consultation. According to the preliminary guidelines for the procurement procedures, an open public procurement for the general contractor is planned for early October. 

Tender requirements are being refined in cooperation with the authorities concerned ir order to adapt them to the dynamically changing construction market and to attract attention from a wider range of contractors both in Lithuania and abroad.
